- VIRIDISO ENERGY (Smart Energy and Microgrid)Smart Microgrid to provide the community with grid resiliency by combining clean, reliable natural gas CHPs and turbine cogeneration with green renewable solar, wind, and biomass waste-to-energy resources. The advanced energy management system will efficiently generate and distribute electricity locally and into the power grid. To accelerate energy decarbonization, we recycle CO2 for the agro-industry, pursue net-zero emissions and carbon neutrality, and adopt technologies toward the hydrogen economy.
- VIRIDISO ENERGY (Waste Heat and CO2 Recycling)Combined Heating and Power (CHP) is a high-efficiency energy cogeneration system. that generates electricity and captures the waste heat for practical applications. CHP natural gas quad-generation (4G) processes deliver electricity, sequester CO2, capture engine waste heat, and convert heat into 40F chilled water via an absorption chiller. CHP requires less fuel for given power output. Its waste heat can be used in food processing, beverages, hospitals, greenhouses, and district heating/cooling. Typical fossil-fueled power plants in the United States have 33% efficiency. Our CHP system has an impressive overall 92% electrical and thermal efficiency.
- VIRIDISO ENERGY (Liquid Natural Gas Supply Chain)Clean Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) infrastructure and supply chain to serve current and future community energy needs. Engineered with the best safety record, ships will transport LNG tanks from the supply terminal into ports for storage and further distribution to other islands. Combined with photovoltaics, natural gas cogeneration with CO2 capture will provide the community with energy resiliency at a lower cost.
- VIRIDISO AGROBIOTECHNOLOGY (Agro and Aquaculture Business)A healthy agriculture and aquaculture industry will empower the community to achieve food security and equity and increase economic competitiveness by becoming a net exporter of agricultural products. Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) and CHP technologies offer ideal solutions. High-tech Sprung greenhouses can be built to grow large-scale fruits, vegetables, and flowers with minimal footprints. At the same time, CHP cogenerators can supply low-cost electrical energy and heating/cooling from their waste energy. This combination can support the agro-industry with year-round productions while positively contributing to the environment at a competitive cost.
- VIRIDISO AGROBIOTECHNOLOGY (Controlled Environment Agriculture)Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) produces large-scale agricultural products in which the temperature and growing climate are controlled for optimum growth for fruits, vegetables, and flowers. With advanced climate control systems, various agricultural products from tropical fruits or winter crops can be produced all year round. CEA requires less than 5% of farmland and consumes 95% less water to grow crops vs. traditional methods. It is also free from pesticides and does not waste valuable nutrients. A greenhouse can produce both vegetables and fish products in combination with aquaculture. By recycling CO2 and waste heat from CHP, this production method ensures food sustainability, cost effectiveness, and ecological responsibility.
